Levar Stoney for Lt. Governor Announces Major Television Advertising Campaign
Advertising will begin in Norfolk, Richmond, and Washington DC media markets
Richmond, Virginia—Today, the Levar Stoney for Lt. Governor campaign announced they will begin airing a series of advertisements highlighting why voters should choose Levar Stoney as their Democratic nominee by June 17th.
Advertisements will include former Mayor Stoney speaking directly to camera and telling voters in his own voice why he is the best qualified candidate for this position, and will also include former Governor Terry McAuliffe making the case.
“I’m incredibly proud of my record of delivering results over the past eight years as Mayor of Richmond, and before that as Secretary of the Commonwealth,” said former Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney. “From restoring voting rights to more than 200,000 disenfranchised Virginians to removing Richmond’s Confederate monuments and investing in our public schools, I’m ready to put my record as a proven fighter who delivers results up against anyone’s.”
Former Governor Terry McAuliffe said, “Simply put, no candidate can match Levar Stoney’s unparalleled experience and record of accomplishment. I am honored to support his campaign and let Virginians know directly why I think Levar Stoney is the guy for us this June.”
Advertising will begin on Thursday, May 15th, and continue through the primary.

I know the fear of being attacked. Trump’s hate pushed me to run and flip the State Senate.
I’ve taken on Trump before, and I’ll do it again as our Lieutenant Governor. Watch our first TV ad today: pic.twitter.com/OHtJWxiqPk
